I too sent an IM with a picture of my dues card attached. Or at least the link on the media server. First time I've sent a photo via IM and it didn't seem to work the way I thought it would. Let me know if there is a problem.

I voted public/public.
I've already had an IM from a local LEO on this site that is not a mason, but interested. Looks like he will be visiting some local lodges. I think the craft is better served by having the forum public. |

That and whatever way you imagine to investigate claims of membership, I can imagine ways to subvert them. IMO it should remain the way it is. Open forum, no icon. |

forum is going to remain open. anyone not wanting the icon doesn't have to apply for it. it's really nothing more than wearing you ring around the forum. just like in public any douche could buy a ring off ebay.

I voted for open forum. I'm a mason is because I came across this forum and started asking questions. We need to put ourselves out there for the public more often. As Masons we have plenty of secrets, I don't believe this should be one of them. If you were to close it off would you admit EA and FC, or just MM?
|
|
|
|
Posted: 3/7/2012 8:36:37 PM
honestly... no way to vet an ea or FC unless another member vouches for them. they would not be entitled to the S&C until proving they are a MM

One of the reasons that I was interested in Masonry was because of the conduct of a particular Mason here at ARFCOM. That Man is rusteerooster.
I think its great that others have joined because of the impact this forum has on their minds. |
