Has anybody been watching? Has it got any better? OR........ is it the same old silliness.

I gave up at the end of season 3. Just wanted to see if it is worth a look on Netflix.

I never stopped watching. I'm not in love with the show, but it is better than nothing. Still plenty of silliness.

Well, there are zombies, so right off the bat, there is THAT silliness.

So if you know that going in, probably best to be willing to stretch your imagination a bit more.

I like the show, reckon its about as believable as anything else I have seen with unbelievable and mythical creatures in it.

I think that they have done a bit better job in reducing the silly gun-play and making it a bit more believable. Still don't understand why every single gun in the armory isn't equipped with a suppressor, but maybe that is just me.

Also, maybe I am just sheltered here in the mid-west, but really can't understand anyone living in that world not having a sidearm, melee weapon AND slung long gun at all times.

Overall, I give the show a solid 7 out of 10.

The last couple of episodes are wearing me down. I feel like it's going to be the same shit rehashed over and over...the GF and I are losing interest, but we're still giving it a go.

FTWD, however, left us wanting more.

It's entertaining, ya like all shows some of the episodes suck but whatevs lol...
Also it's a human drama with zombies, not a zombie show with drama thrown in, so if ur cool with that give it a try again

I binge watched the 2nd half of season 4 up through season 6 and really enjoyed it. I think it's gotten a lot better since compared to the first 3 season.

Stopped watching it a few weeks ago, maybe longer.

Don't miss it.

Found myself hating it this season.

Really hated it during the episode where the angry black dude was being taught by the pussy white dude to bow, puss, and swing a fucking mop handle.

Life is too short to watch shit TV.

I enjoy the show. My wife and two girls all like it so we plan our Sunday evening activities around it. I'll usually grill or something and then we'll all spend time together in the living room watching it.

Admittedly it does have it's silly, "Why the fuck would you do that!!!" moments but we watch it strictly for entertainment value. Same with Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad when it was on.

It's a fucking TV show. We don't make political, financial, or personal decisions based on it or what it's actors do. Some people need to lighten up.

This is one of the few shows my wife and I can agree on.

I read the comics and enjoy comparing the differences.
The Walking Dead is not a pure action/adventure nor is it a pure soap opera type show. I think of it similar to the movie "The Road". It's about inter-personal relations and surviving in a shit world with action thrown in. It's a drama. Now, the decision making could be a lot different but, guess what, much of the decision making follows with the comic. That's just how it is. If bad decisions weren't made at certain points then we wouldn't get to where we are.

If someone doesn't like the show then don't watch. It is what it is.

I stopped watching in season 1 when they find a buncha Mexican gangbangers doing a drive by on some zombies but it turns out they're actually taking care of a buncha old white grandmas in a retirement center. I don't need that kind of retarded PC screen writing in my life. I think interest in the show is dying everywhere but I remember like 3 years ago at least 25% of all posts on Facebook were walking dead related lol

stopped watching in season 2 when that govenor guy picked up an AR15 that had a front sight and a rail with no rearsight or optics and was making some nice shots with it. That made me decide that it wasn't gonna get better if they can't figure that one out.

I stopped watching when the show went from action to 90% talking each episode. So, what, half-way through the first season? Before the black chick arrived.

Not sure why people love it - it really does suck balls.

My wife and daughter still watch it but I stopped watching in the middle of season 2. There was just too much silliness and they ruined the premise of what could have been a good show.

Show could be a great prepper show with characters doing survival shit while dodging zombies. Too much personal drama during a "no shit" survival situation. How may episodes have someone getting killed because they were busy with the personal drama crap and not keeping situational awareness?

You can skip the episode in season 6 when the black dude spends over an hour showing how he adopted Tai Chi and can't kill anybody anymore. I hate those Psyop episodes.
