THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT I doubt it would be the same experience as a PC version, but I'll take a little "dumbing down" if they can get most of the core elements right.Thing is,while the PS3 has the power to do it more or less faithfully, the 360 is easier for most developers to port titles over to and has a more developed online community(most of which consists of 12yr olds claiming sexual relations with peoples mothers IMHO).It's possible PS3 owners could get left behind if it does happen. ETA:here's some game play footage that's been released:Day Z alpha gameplay.Still a little to early to form much of an opinion.I was hoping for more of a hardcore simulation like Fallout New Vegas hardcore mode:"realistic" treatment for injuries, load carrying restrictions, you have to hydrate, etc.Oh well, maybe next console generation. |

Security measures alone for Microsoft and from what I know Sony( I only play xbox and pc, no ps systems) make this seem okay just in that fact alone. However, I don't think a console server is equipped to handle the amount of data needed for a game like DayZ. Also, XBL Party only allows eight in a party to chat :( |
