The only problem with that first one is that in order to really be accurate, there needs to be a guy manning the gun in back fighting off the horde while someone else tries to fix the transmission...
Besides, everyone knows a proper technical is built around a Toyota Hilux. |

Besides, everyone knows a proper technical is built around a Toyota Hilux. Yeah, a Hilux is the standard, but this was something I cobbled together from quite a few sources. The running gear/front bumper/desert is from an '03 race truck. The body itself is a 2011 model. The windshield louvers are from an MRLS, while the window bars are from a rusty piece of steel multiple times over. The ZSU came from someplace else and was a ground mount. The dirt, dust, grime was all added later with various brushes and layers until I was somewhat happy with it. I might be missing some things but it was about a year and a half ago that I was playing with it. I am afraid that is all I have at the moment. Wait a sec. I got one more, but this is more of a pre-apocalypse. It will be interesting to see if anyone else has been here...

Very cool.
The truck needs fewer body panels and more spikes though. Definitely needs a some kind of blockade clearing spikes/ram on the front too, like this: ![]() |
