I don't get it. In CA everyone uses bullet buttons. which sound like they will still be legal. If I read this right they will be banning the actual mag release button. Which will change....... wait for it....

Apparently Calguns types mocked the bill's sponsor over the poor wording of his bill online, and IIRC, he went and amended it to make a mag detachable by any means illegal. CA gun owners are well past the point where what I think they should be doing can't really be posted.  |

Well, I'm 41, and I grew up in CA., and I slowly saw the gun rights being stripped away slowly but surly, then over the past few years, CA gov. has gotten bolder at enforcing stricter laws and bills to take 2nd amendment rights away from its citizens, and pursuing its socialist "Police State" dreams.
But, no one in CA ( citizens ) will do anything about it sadly! ( I was just as guilty by the way, even more sad! ) so don't you worry, this bill will pass. CA is dead! and not because of real zombies, but because of complacent, ignorant, foolish, socialist brainwashed, ethnic, liberal, citizenry, that acts like brain dead zombies! |

I got out of there once I was 18 (actually before, since I joined the Navy) and haven't looked back, in fact I went back out there last year to reclaim my Evil Black Mini 14 from my uncle (had to swap the stock first, but still). I personally have no intentions of ever going back permanantly, God Forbid the Navy sends me out there (the reason my NFA items will be in a trust).

Grew up there myself, and never looked back!
But it's OK...when it's "Alta California" and a province of Mexico again, there will be plenty of gringo slaves for them to subjugate....and it couldn't happen to a better bunch of people!  |
