i did smack one a few times, sometimes it bounced and sometimes it stuck. they were drying out (also it was raining and i was out in flip flops so i did not linger long). i bet a fresh one would get hurt pretty good. gotta get a ladder to cut some down, dont think the neighbors would like me shooting a stalk of coconuts off the tree, lol they are up there at least 20 feet or more
