Just got a letter from NRA. I have various training credentials, including RSO, which I've held for many years because I engage in training and education of new and young shooters. The letter indicated that nothing further would be done by mail. Everything requires an email address.

I cancelled my NRA membership for a while some years ago because they ran some "unsolicited merchandise" scam on me. I rejoined by mail without providing phone or email contacts.

I just spent a while on the phone trying to talk to someone about this. All I get is various phone trees which repeat themselves.

Has anyone else experienced this? I have no intention of providing NRA with phone or email. I don't need any more spam about Viagra, or calls soliciting cash over the phone. I will let the credentials lapse and get out of volunteer training before I'll do that.

Please feel free to IM me your contact information and I'll see what can be done.

Be more than happy to try and help you.

Talked to some friends who I work with training kids. Looks like NRA Ed has gone paperless, which makes sense for them.

Thank you for the offer. Had some time between appointments, so I got on the phone again. It is NOT possible to talk to anyone in the NRA on the phone about administrative issues- all phone trees direct you to online options, then repeat. All email communication with them requires email and phone numbers as a requirement for interaction.

If I decide to keep current I'll register with their online site.
