I joined the NRA in 2010. Took the Life Membership offer in 2012. I've upgraded in 2013 and 2014. Now, as a Patron Member, I get this letter offering to join the Golden Eagles.

Not having a whole lot of time to read though the letter, I figured I'd ask here. What are the privileges of membership? Do I get to call firemissions for those of us in occupied territory? I see offers of a belt and cap, neither of which I'm interested in. I want to take back my 2A rights here in CA.

...if I understand it correctly, ...the money going to Golden Eagles gets put to many missions that foster growth in the shooting sports, safety (eddie eagle), hunting education, etc.. i.e. that money goes to the "boots on ground" things that the general membership dues don't cover...

I've done Golden Eagles for several years now, ...I feel it's getting put to good use!
