...turning in their family "pets" for the reason(s): vacation time, can't be bothered, holiday parties, (here in Ohio--one guy said his dog "no longer matched his color scheme of his home," I kid you not!)
“They’ll be dragged from the person they love, the person that swore to love and care for them for the duration of their lives. They’ll be confused, sad, but most of all terrified. The smell of death is overpowering here. After a day or two of sleeping on cold, dirty floors with the cacophony always all around, shivering and scared, they’ll be walked down a long hall to a room.” At our house we are being a "Foster Family" this week for some K9s from a local "no kill" shelter for the 4th--they are overcrowded and beyond capacity. Last night, some joker dumped a bitch and her newborn four pups at the shelter door--in the middle of the night!

I would never trade-in, trade-off my dogs.

When my last Boxer (RIP Caden!) got down in his hips we bought rug runners to help him get around the house. Then we bought a "strap" to help lift him up to use the bathroom. Then we cried together as built him a casket in my shop. Fuck these lazy, disloyal people with a cactus.

Haven't been home in 24 hours, cat was chilled on the porch, still had water in his bowl and some food left.
Refilled, pet him for a while and then left again. Can't do that with most dogs, they require more work like a child. Insert COC violation to anyone who doesn't take care of their fur babies |

Why can't a disturbed individual choose THAT place for a mass shooting? This just sickens me. I feel sadness, and more anger than I've felt in a LONG time, but more than anything else I feel sick and disgusted. Man, some people aren't worth the cost of a bullet.
Tonight my cats are going to get spoiled a little more than they usually are. |

This makes me sad. Here is our Rotty/Australian Shepherd named Dug we rescued almost a year ago. He now lives the good life!

Ok, but if you Google the story you find out that the story is false. True, some people are irresponsible with their pets, but not everyone in that photo was dumping a dog. Not sure how to add a link on my tablet.

The folks in that line were there for the vet clinic services, not dumping their dogs.
Fake news put out by folks with an agenda. Not saying that there aren't overcrowded shelters or animals being put down (which is one of the reasons the massive "rescue dog" imports from other countries aggravate me), but this story was made up. |
