Abby has gained about 4 lbs. and has filled out nicely. Her fur, previously a sickly "orange" has darkened and become very shiny.

She is full of puppy mischief. Yesterday she pulled a gallon bucket of strawberries off the counter and ate about a fourth of them before she got caught.

Thanks for all your replies. Yes, she's indeed a beauty.

And speaking of beauties, this dog is a chick magnet.

No more food left on the counter, period. Yesterday she pulled down two loaves of bread, tore past the plastic and downed both of them.

Huge piles of bread-y dog poop today.

Two blueberry bushes in the backyard are devoid of ripe berries on the lower branches and also the ground around them.

Now I'm finding large piles of blue dog-doo that conveniently stand out from the surrounding mulch.

Coincidence? I think not.

We rescued a Rhodesian Ridgeback. She has separation anxiety and the first year we had her it was a game to which piece of furniture she would eat when we got home from work. Went through a few couches, chairs and dog beds. She's better now but still doesn't like it when we leave the house for work.

Here she is at three and a half months after adoption. She's filled out and healthy. Fur is nice and shiny and getting very dark. She now weighs in at 67 lbs. Not sure if I quite believe that but she's definitely not looking "ribby".

30 seconds prior to this photo being taken she was up on her hind legs stripping the blueberry bushes of their fruit. She LOVES blueberries.

Wisdom Panel results:

63% Labrador Retreiver (one half of her "tree" is pure Lab going back 4 generations)

25% Doberman Pinscher

What did you think about the Wisdom Panel test? I guess I can see Lab/Dobby but maybe that's just because I read the results?

Thought about getting one of those done for my mutt but can't pull the trigger on $85+ for a wild guess.

Another family member who can't fritter away money fast enough paid for the test despite my protestations. I would never have paid it....not even if it cost $20.

The results chart was pretty cool but I already knew the dog was at least half Lab. I was surprised to learn she was part doberman I never would have guessed that.

If your dag is a true mutt then I don't think they'll be able to nail down every breed he/she is. Even the panel could not determine 12% of Abby's DNA.

Thanks! She truly is a gorgeous dog (2nd photo does not really give you an idea of how uniformly brown she actually is) and she's as sweet and friendly beyond belief but damn is she ornery.
