Cisco, our 10 year old Papillon is having a rough time.
He injured his foot.  Not sure how.
His underside is tender.  He's trembling and in obvious pain.
I'm taking him to the vet today to see what's going on.
It's not the same around here with no retarded Dorky Dog being a barky moron.

UPDATE:  Poor little guy has arthritis in his hip.  It's causing him pain in the hip and mid back areas.
We have to carry him outside to do business and lift him on the roommates bed.
Vet prescribed Tramadol, Prednisone and another med I can't recall.
He'll be pretty much lost in the ozone for a couple weeks while he heals up.

The meds are working well.  As we say around the house, Cisco has his "dork" on.
If you didn't know you couldn't tell he could barely walk a week ago.
We make him use a ramp to get in and out of the house and we pick him up to get him in the car.
I carry him up and down the stairs for now.  When he's off his meds we'll see how he does.

Quick snap from yesterday

Is one of the meds rymadil?  If so, ask the vet about meloxicam instead.  Same class of drugs, same side effects, same benefits.... 1/10th the cost.

Prednisone, Tramadol and a muscle relaxant I can't pronounce.
The cost of meds was $53 so I'm not complaining.

He's off Tramadol and the muscle relaxant.  Tapering off Prednisone.
He's back to his dorky self.
