Rawhide bones, rubber, hooves, what?? I don't want her internals messed up to where she gets plugged up or worse? My previous dog
didn't get any chew toys or such. This one is about 18 months old and needs entertainment while I'm at work. Thanks
EDIT;
Alright ARFCOM, let's get to picking a name for my baby!! She's @ 18 months old and a rescue dog. She tags along with me around the house and while in the back yard. We're still getting to know each other, I've had her since Saturday!
So get your thinking caps on and hit me with everything y'all got!!!

Thanx to joker1 for the idea and again for posting my photos!!!

I started a thread in gd, so maybe y'all would like to jump in and pile on???

My dog was chewing up a Kong every week or so and the lifetime chew toys lasted an hour. Try to find the black Kong toys .It was about that age that I bought a sewing machine to make my own toys from denim and batting.

We give our dags pig ears and hooves, but not all the time. Wife bought kongs and we put peanut butter in those to keep them busy.

Good luck and post pictures of said dag!

Black Kongs

My dogs like to chew on cats, turkeys, chickens, squirrels etc.
It does make a mess but they don't get sick.
Come to think of it chew tows might be cheaper.

Mine can destroy about anything. I found that the black Kongs that where bigger then recommened seemed to work best. The other things that work are antlers, they seem to last long just make sure they aren't small enough to swallow.

Give him your best pair of shoes, he'll find 'em sooner or later anyway.

The rescue my mom has likes pizzles--but I wouldn't give one to a puppy if I couldn't supervise.
If you can't supervise, a Kong is probably more appropriate.

Elk antlers. When he has his permanent teeth, give him deer antler.

If outside give him a log to chew on.
If inside, kennel your dog.

Another for antlers! Elk. Moose. Deer. Ram. Don't matter. Mine's a chewer and offside Kong toys, that's what I give her to satisfy her chewing needs.

Nayla (sp?) bones, pigs ears (=shit) or raw lamb bowns.

I'd go with niyla (how the fuck do ya spell that?) bones.

I've seen dogs tear through them before, along with kongs (both red and black) and most other "chew toys", which is why I recommended deer antlers. I have yet to see a dog of any size go through one quickly.

I asked the wife and the first thing she though of was Sparky.   I am thinking Colt or Remington (Remy)
