My goats tore down some fence and one of my dogs got out. Some how made his way to the main road (almost a mile away). I'd been looking for him for 3 days. Got a call today from the lady who ran him over. :'-(

Sorry to hear about your loss. They really become part of the family. At least the lady had the courtesy to call and let you know. It won't make it easier, but at least you won't have to wonder what happened.
