THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT At 9 weeks old and about 18 pounds "
At 5 months old and 70 pounds "
She is an English Mastiff and the biggest wimp ever. She shows nothing but love to my entire family. The best money I have spent in quite awhile. She is my first "giant" breed dog. I have had labs in the past, and still have one. My only question for those of you that have raised big dogs , when should I take her off of puppy food? I have read different opinions on this. She currently eats Eukanuba giant breed for puppies up to 24 months. |

Looks like someone got into some spice. Good looking pup. I got a mutt who is about 50-60 lbs that latched onto my kids old car seat, its quite comical watching him curl up and sleep in it. Ever since he was a pup he's done this. I would be afraid of the food bill on a dog that big, you would almost need to buy in bulk and by bulk I mean a ton at a time.

They are definitely not a budget breed. Everything costs more. Medications are more expensive because most of the time, you have to give them about twice the amount of other dogs. She eats a ton of food right now mostly because she is gaining between 5 and 7 pounds a week. After they mature and slow down, they don't eat much more than a lab. |

Her first trip to PetCo (its where the pets go) yesterday. We had to pick up a new collar, her current one is getting too small. I weighed her last night at 77 pounds.

If we are working in the kitchen, she lays right in front of the sink. We don't let the dogs on the couch but when I sit on the floor with her, she gets right up in my lap. If she could get closer, I think she would. Yes, they are great dogs. Here she is chewing on her Aimless. ![]() |
