I don't know about that other beast but your Lab wants enough water to actually swim in.

I put the pool under the shade tree so it stays cool all day and they always have 40 gallons of water to drink and lay in. |

Looks like fun. That Lab is way overweight, though. You should be able to see his waist from above. I'm not trying to offend or insult you, but I'm a huge dog fan and hate seeing fat dogs. It isn't healthy.

His fur is long and wavy which gives the appearance of heavier weight. His parents were big dogs both over 95lbs. He weighs 88lbs as of his last vet visit a month or so ago. |

He was scared to death of the hose when water came out of it . Of course my Lab was all stupid over the water so after awhile Max joined in. It took TWO YEARS to get him to get into the pool like that and I was happy to get evidence of it. |

Man, I can't find those hard plastic pools anywhere! I've been looking in Targets, BJ's, Sams Club, Kmart, Walmart and various drug stores..............not a one. They all have the inflatable pools, which would be destroyed in minutes by my dog.

One new Wally here cannot carry them b/c of a city ordinance so I had to go further out. Its a good idea to buy at least two can keep them together. When one starts to fall apart flip them and they'll last another couple seasons. I am now storing them in the shed and keeping spares. |
