THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT Took the lil guy to the vet, they did an X-Ray and he has a foreign body lodged in his intestines, the vet is going to hold him over night until the radiologist comes down and gives a second opinion, then they might have to do a barometric and possibly cut his tummy open. Poor guy has never been away from home, doesn't even like to go outside beyond the back yard. Pic below, my dag Tedo:

I'm sorry to hear that your little one is not feeling well. I know its hard to leave them over night. I've had dogs stay over night at the vet/emergency vet, and someone will be watching over him thru out the night.. I hope that all turns out good for him and you.
Let us know what happens. |

Still no call from the vet. They promised to call yesterday afternoon/evening to tell me what the radiologist's opinon was and how they are going to move forward.. they opened at 0700 today and have not called yet either.. I am going to stop by on the way home.

I'm so sorry.
My friend had an Airedale that ate a rock that came out of another dog's (female in season) pen. He had to have surgery similar to what you're talking about here. He came through it, successfully. UPDATE??? |
