I just finished reading "Empire" by Orson Scott Card. It's a little different from other books that I have read by him. It has no relation to the "Ender" series. This book was copyrighted in 2006 but could have been written about the current times that we are in. The afterword at the end of the book could have been taken from this last weeks news. His crystal ball is scarily accurate.
