Maybe Richard Marcinkos books?

I've read Red Cell and Rogue Warrior, RC is fiction and quite correct in terms of guns.

Larry Correia's Deep Six books, the ones he did with Mike Kupari?

Larry wrote the best selling Monster Hunter series, and he's also a gun nut who gets his gun details right.  He's even an infrequent poster here on arfcom.
