So I realize that none of the Jack Ryan books are what Clancy books once were, but I still find them enjoyable to read.  The last two in the series I haven't read are Under Fire by Grant Blackwood and Commander in Chief by Mark Greaney.  The Greaney book gets pretty good reviews, but a lot of really bad reviews for the Blackwood book.  If anyone has read both, will I be missing much if I skip Under Fire?

Thanks

Read both. Just finished CiC but cant recall much about the previous. I don't think you will miss anything, but its always nice to keep up with the Ryan family.

I ended up going with Under Fire to keep things in order.  Wasn't the worst book I've ever read, but probably the worst Jack Ryan book I ever read.  Was still good for keeping me entertained with a blizzard outside though.
