Recently I've read-
Lone Survivor
American Sniper
No Easy day
Level Zero Heroes

Based on suggestions-

House to House- 12/18/14

These books are in the genre I like. I would like to read similar books that describe/profile more recent conflicts. Please let me know any suggestions you have.

Thank you in advance.

Just finished "House To House" yesterday. I enjoyed it. It was written halfway decent and really described what our guys went through trying to clear the city. The last 100 pages had me on the edge of my seat. I recommend it.

What else do you guys have to suggest?

I read No Hero in a week.  Pretty good lessons learned.

Chosen Soldier is the best Army SF book I've read.

Generation Kill based on what you've read so far. That fits perfectly up your alley.
