I just picked this one up at a used book store and read it in a day. It is a pretty good homage to Starship Troopers, aside from the disparaging comments regarding AR pattern rifles. I recommend it to anyone looking for some light sci fi, involving humans getting their shit together and kicking alien ass.

The series was pretty good, but may have gone on a little too long in some cases.
Still the last book is a more or less satisfactory conclusion to the series.

I didn't realize that it was part of a series until last night. I will have to keep an eye out for the other books.

I've read the first two books and liked them. I couldn't help but think of the Normandy glider landings when they were dropping onto the target. I'll have to re-read the first two and keep an eye out for the rest.

How many are there, total?
You can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him.
