So good, I've read it twice.
Now only if I knew some disgruntled Space Shuttle Door Gunners.

It's a damn good book. Probably my favorite Vince Flynn Novel. It may be 13 years old but the plot is very relevant to what is going on with our current political situation.

The guys were pissed with a 5 trillion debt. How many guys would they bump off with a 14 trillion one. I started reading the next one in order "Transfer of Power" so far, so good. |

I just finished all of his books up to American Assassin at the end of last year. All of the books are really good. Some develop a little faster than others and some of them are two part series that don't end until the next book. I'm going to pickup American Assassin in the next week or so and try and finish off the series. Then I'll be stuck waiting until later in the year when a new one will probably come out. |

I recently started reading the Rapp series but not in order and I'm getting lost.
I've looked around but I can't find a list of the order they were writen in. I would love to start over from the begining if somebody can clue me in. |

If they ever bring Rapp to the big screen, I hope they start with this one! And Term Limits was an amazing book. One thing that makes it stand out is that it shows the size of Flynn's balls. This first book, depending on how you look at it, is mostly unrelated to the others in the series. But on the other hand, the Rapp stories wouldn't be there if it hadn't been for what happened in Term Limits. Very big gamble on the part of Flynn. It was like he knew that his novels were going to catch on. BTW, I found out about Flynn from an interview on Glen Beck. I listened to the struggle that he went through being dyslexic (I have no idea how to spell that, so forgive me) and now he's a huge novelist. I decided that I was going to read a few of his books, no matter how bad they sucked. Now, I'm very happy that I did, because Flynn is now my favorite author! |

The only problem I have with the series is that the books all start to resemble each other far too much. Mitch tortures terrorists, politicians try to take him down, Mitch bitches about politicians and rebels, doing it his own eay, something bad happens to politicians, Mitch saves the day and the politician has a change of heart. End of story. That's pretty much each of the last 3 or 4 books. I still read the series at least twice a year, but that's the gist.

How many dirty politicians set you up? How many times does your dumb ass daughter get in trouble? How many times does Jack get close only to miss the bad guys again? I feel ya |

I feel ya I enjoyed the entire Flynn series. And I just started watching "24' on Netflix. I always thought it seemed like a goofy show so I never paid it any attention. Was I ever wrong!! |

I just got a friend and his wife hooked on "24". They ripped through season 1 and are about half way through 2. As much as I loved the show, it just got to the point where you knew what was going to happen. There's gonna be a mole, some one's going to get a presidential pardon, Jack's gonna torture someone, etc. etc.
I got the 4th Vince Flynn book, "Seperation of Power" the other day. I haven't started yet though. I had to take a break so I didn't get all "Rapp'ed" up in the series. I just finished "The Infection" by Craig DiLouie which wasn't bad. |

Just finished it too. Thats what I was thinking, Term Limits 2 needs to come out as a hint to our leaders now. I have read every one of his books except Transfer of Power, thats next. Flynn is the man. |
