Still hard to believe they're gone. I can't begin to fathom the grief of her and her daughter. I was "only" a friend. It's surreal.
Feeling sorry for myself, I guess... Life is a bizarre thing. Here and then...not. I don't see how soldiers deal with that. Does life get cheap and not mean anything? You don't care about anyone? Because... what difference does it make? It can be taken from anyone for anything, with no reason. I used to believe that, if one was competent, it made a difference. But, it doesn't ....really. It may hedge your "bet" but it, sure as anything, doesn't change anything... in reality. I'm rambling, and appologize. |

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Seeing so many take time to express condolences means a lot.
