I swear he comes to mind everytime I watch a game and the Wings are kicking ass. Here is John shooting one of my Garands at the Hun Farm shoot you mentioned in the OP:

He rode with me on that trip and helped me lug around that heavy ass AR50. I had just gotten it and he helped me do the break-in procedure outlined by ArmaLite in the owners manual and zeroing the scope in the process.

Very unselfish guy.

It's hard to believe it's been 5 years.

If it's a Colt, it's a copy of an original ArmaLite.

I am not LARRYG36.
