Been pack to a few threads that I posted in, or posted up myself.

The Dambuster thread, the Anchovies thread, and my Vulcan Bomber thread.

Everywhere I see his name and icon, he's a class act, informative, and good fun. I am sure he will be missed.

On a side note...maybe it would be a good idea to post avatars with these announcements.  Puts a face to the name in a way.

Damn , this is gutwrenching news.
I've not heard much from him for a while and he was going to visit and stay here with me.
He was looking forward to drinking a real pint in a real British pub...we even looked at pubs near me for him to try.

I'll raise my glass to him

Taffy

He upped me for my current membership, a great guy.

My goodness. More sad news. 42 is just way too young.

I never talked to John but I always enjoyed his postings. You will be missed my friend.

My prayers and sympathies go out to the family and friends left behind.
