Goddammit, I hate cancer so much.

People like John are the reason I've managed to fight, and win, a couple bouts with cancer, and I'm sure I'll have another go round with it eventually, and I'll strive to maintain the courage and dedication that John seemed to throughout his fight. I didn't know him, other than from his thoughtful and informative posts, but people like him are rare gems, and losing a person of his caliber is a loss to the world. Rest in peace, sir.

Damn

Rest in peace brother.

I remember John being the reason that I up and went to Eric The Hun's (another sorely missed member) farm for the first time.  I'll have to ask my wife if she had him as a patient.  I had no idea he was up at Emory.

Met him at The Hun Farm, where we had beers together and discussed the finer points of the Yakima Firing Center.  Hell of a good guy.

Sad news.  I bet he's hanging out with ETH and the rest of the Hun Farmers who have passed along way too soon.  May God comfort his family and friends.  Rest in peace, Warrior.
