I went Tues and Wed and saw him at the Nighthawk booth late in the afternoon my second day. I am well aware of who he is and what he's done so It was pretty cool to meet him. It was a very quick encounter I had with him as me and a buddy wondered over to say hi. After all was said and done I must admit that I can't get over one thing.....................shaking the dude's hand was like holding onto a dead fish. (you know what I mean, one of those awkward handshakes that are a little on the limp side that leave you going WTF) Other than an awkward handshake the dude seemed cool and I'm sure is still a badass. That was my impression

I wasn't at Shot Show, but he's a cool guy. He used to work at a company with my dad, and I've met him through there. But that was a while ago, right when the first AOTC was being released. Did you see the action figure he has now?

I'm a stickler for a firm handshake, but you have to consider the circumstances. Shake hands with a few hundred people a day and your handshake goes from firm and manly to a dead "here's my hand, do with it what you will and then give it back.".

When I go to trade shows in my industry it happens to me...lots of hand shakers. Similar thing happens with people wanting their picture taken...after a while, your face is tired of smiling and you wish you were wearing sunglasses so it wouldn't matter if you close your eyes when the flash goes off. It's not bad or annoying in any way, just kinda draining after a day or two.

Did it have any velcro on it? What about PALS webbing?

What sort of material was made out of? Was it moisture-wicking or fire-resistant?

I have an idea. Take one of his courses. You can meet him, AND get some training. WIN. WIN.

I don't like Bear Grylls, but he is a house hold name. I have a ton of respect for the medal of honor recipient, but to be honest, I had no idea who he was. When I think about it though, peope like Bear Grylls are ntertainers

who love attention. MOH recipients not so much. Pretty sad when I know who Kim Kardashian is, yet somebody whois a true hero, I know nothing about.

As far as Costa goes, I saw him walking around, but I just left him alone. I really don't need to meet him and I am sure he gets a ton of fanboys bothering him.

though I didnt get to chat with costs I spoke to Natalie Foster from girls guide to guns at media day - ha ha the ro even got distracted and let her cut ahead of me in line at the FNH booth, which was cool because she's a pretty good shot and I was able to talk my mom into getting a .45 with some of the pics.
