Hey we've got a musicians forum now. Sweet deal, hadn't noticed it before.

My music (if you can call it that) tends toward the extreme metal. So if you're a fan of the metal, check it out I guess.

Also, I was in two other metal bands in my early years. Quality isn't so great, but smoke 'em if ya got 'em I guess.

I play guitar and write the songs in this band. It's essentially filk music. We got tired of singing about girls so we decided to sing about an Interstellar war between mankind and aliens.

Thought I'd throw my hat in here.  We're a "southern" rock band, americana, whatever you want to call it.  We just put out our debut album.

"Front Row Seats" is about anger against our inept .gov during the bailouts.....thought that might be appropriate here.  lol.

This is well-produced, and you guys are obviously talented. I really liked the guitar tone.   Who did the engineering and production?

Let me know what you think of this, because family and friends are never honest.  It's a little jam that I wrote and put together with my roommate.

It's not too bad. But it's not something that I would listen to very often (I'd have to be in the right mood).

It could be improved a great deal by having a real drummer instead of the drum machine, though.

I like the wah solo....maybe a little more of a mid range Eq on the guitars....they sound a little harsh in the 3-5K range,  Definitely the vibe would be helped by a real drummer.

This is my Myspace site.  I'm not the best performer, but I like my songs.  It was all recorded on my embedded laptop mic and edited with freeware, so....

In The Sun and Sorrow Waits are the only two full songs, the other couple were just me messing around.

Just something I came up with really quickly, took less than 10mins to write and record since its so simple.

I haven't really tried to write "Slow" stuff before so sorry if it doesn't sound all that great.

Sometimes it seems easier to play fast than slow.

EDIT: Changed link

Pretty good, sort of reminds me of old Opeth (like something off of Morningrise).

Last band I was with, Dangerous Incorporated. Link will take you to the music page.

I play lead/rhythm guitar, I was endorsed by Moser Custom Guitars and SIT strings. I almost always played Jackson guitars, but would use one of theirs here and there on stage.

We made this CD summer of 2006 and it was fun, I don't think the vocals fit the music but we still managed to have a lot of fun and met some very interesting people along the way.

Band fell apart late 2007 and I left, it was a shame really because I thought we had a great rhythm section, great bassist and drummer as well. The vocalist was the tipping point and I couldn't take his crap anymore.

ETA: This is the band I was with before Dangerous Inc, a little heavier and darker, Kaos Theory, we were approached by Geezer Butler but the vocalist blew that one too.

This video is off a CD I played drums on, and also mixed it.  The album is called "Rebuilding the Ruins."  The band is "Images of Eden."

This video was record on September 11th 2010, as a tribute to US servicemen and women.

CD is out March 1st.
