I'll start off by posting some of my older stuff.

I don't really like it much anymore, but it helps me get along.

Ironically, none of these tracks have ever been finished (IIRC, none of them have finished drum tracks or more layered synths, etc).

It's electronica, by the way:

Encephalon

Half Duplex

Never actually titled this one

Here is one I did.
I haven't played in a while and I don't record anymore.

ETA:
Here is another.

And one last one.

Hey, these are pretty damn good. What did you use?

I've messed around in Jeskola Buzz a tiny bit, but never made anything I liked or kept. I need to get back at it, maybe with some software that has some better synths.

Thank you!

The first was made a long time ago in FL Studio 6 XXL

The others were made in Reason 3.

I'm using mostly Reason 4 right now, with my main MIDI controllers being a Novation ReMote and an Akai MPD16.
I love reason 4, but I just wish it had VST support.
If I'm going to do something with VSTs, I might do it with ReWire, or record/export the track and mix it in later. To this point, I haven't really needed any plug-ins, but it would still be nice to have them.
I also have a Behringer BCD2000 that I don't use much, and assorted other hardware for recording vocals and guitar.

Advanced warning: Crappy quality, lots of mistakes, timing off... I need to practice more, but I give you:

Cowboys From Hell

The Crazy Train Wrecked

Backing tracks, higher quality, and less mistakes coming soon.

Equipment used:
Jackson Kelly KE3R
Line6 Flextone II XL
PC microphone set 1 foot away from amp
Acid Pro 3

More random noodling/warming up

I'd like to add that I love DiMarzio EVOs, that is all.

Technical Difficulties (The part I at least somewhat know)

I do pretty crazy Industrial/EBM but have somehow managed to get a record deal and travel the world with it.

My old band doing a punk cover over Eric Clapton's Wonderful Tonight:

video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-776795707712579572

The entire show (more covers and a few originals). The upload caused the video to get out of sync with the audio pretty early on.

I'm on bass.

Here are 2 songs from the last instrumental CD that I released... All Guitar and Bass tracks are me... and a buddy of mine played on all of the drum tracks.

First song was written for a really good friend of mine, she passed away from cancer a few years ago. Second song is called "Fear"... It's pretty heavy.

Song #1. Wendy Lee

Song #2. Fear

I don't believe they will.

I have a server that I use, but there are a number of sites for bands out there.
Myspace can do it, but I hate myspace so I wouldn't be able to explain how.

www.soundclick.com/ can do it
www.purevolume.com can do it.

I know soundclick takes a while, because they make sure you're not using pirated music or something before it actually airs on the web. Purevolume may or may not do the same--I've never used it.

Purevolume Link

A joke band my friend and I started.  All the vocals (yours truly.  sup?) are improv.  Most fun I've ever had recording.

Purevolume link has our song called Prelude which is one of my favorites.  I'd also recommend Genital Tonsilitis and Inverted Fetus of Death as your starting songs

No shit...this is my band.  I wouldn't put you on about that....

Listen to the whole album, or better yet, buy it.  With a handle like Dionysus, you obviously are a RUSH, Hemispheres fan, so listen to songs like "Haunted" and "white Stones"

We are quite obviously influenced heavily by RUSH, and I don't mind saying so.  They're probably;y my favorite band of all time.

Here are A FEW OF MY SONGS.

I have an 'official website' but it's down at the moment apparently, so the link above will take you to a few songs in streaming audio (or you can download).

No band now that I have kids, so it's just 'solo' with me doing everything.

I had no idea this music section existed here, I'll go back and check out some of you guys' tunes

Definitely some good talent in these forums!!!

This is my band from College... a bunch of classic rock influenced 20 year olds that were bored with their aviation school curriculum lol.  I'm the drummer, btw.

Brisance

just a little FYI On the recordings... we actually didn't record any of these in a recording studio or room, we just basically hi-jacked our schools radio station and used the mounted mic's they use for talk shows lol.  Then we had a friend try to clean up the tracks as best as possible.

also, on the tracks "creator, destroyer" and "Neverending Beginning", you'll notice me screw up a few times that are pretty obvious, but they were not supposed to be the final recordings, let alone the ones put on the website, hahaha

But the other two songs (Hell of a home and One more round) Are pretty good recordings.

Lemme know what ya think.

Taproot?  Rock and roll - I'm not much for electronica, but I'm impressed with the skill so far.  I'll have to get a few of mine up soon.

Got 5 tracks here:

MySpace Music Page: SanSkrit Band

The first two are with the new software and equipment.  The first just needs a new bass track and then the vox in.

The second is getting the roughing out done.  I need to tweak the drums some more, and then re-record the guitar parts and work from there...

Then an acoustic version of the first song with vocals, from the vocalist (girlfriend).

The next two are songs that are being recorded... with the old drum software and equipment.  They sound a little rough... they are re-written and re-arranged in the new versions, which are in progress.

right-click, save link as. (about 30MB)

I need to start taking lessons again.

A very crappy recording I did about 6 months ago mostly consisting of random bits of poorly attempted covers. The intonation was off on the high E on old strings. I chopped/edited it and apparently I went overboard with the wah and delay. Sorry in advance for butchering many a good song.

I should probably visit the music forum more, since I'm a music nut.

Here are my finished compositions (though the symphonic poem isn't QUITE finished - the last 15 or so seconds are going to be rewritten soon, and I may make some tiny changes here and there).  I wrote my theme and variations for a composition class in college.

Reborn, symphonic poem

Theme and Variations for clarinet and piano

Just a silly theme, something to grow on.
Theme
A direct technical variation, with a bit of polyrhythm (3/4 mixed with 6/8)
Variation 1
A completely different variation in aeolian mode
Variation 2
Calm, tranquil, with lots of mode mixture
Variation 3
The finale
Variation 4
