Anyone else in here like classical music? I'm looking for some new good pieces to listen to. I'm open to anything from the baroque period up until now. I like vivaldi, mahler, and of course a lot of the other greats. What ya got?

I remember liking Eine Kleina Nacht Musik (not sure if spelling correctly) back in my youth.
I liked the 80's movie "Amadeus" when I watched it back then. |

My favorite piece is Rachmaninoff's Prelude in G minor, but my favorite composer overall is Vivaldi.

Always been a fan of Beethoven and Vivaldi in general and Holst's The Planets in particular. |

I've been partial to the Nocturnes of Chopin
Murmures de la Seine 1 & 2 Nocturne no 11 in G minor Bach's concerto for 2 violins The late string quartets of Beethoven, particularly Quartet No. 14 in C-sharp minor, Op. 131 - Quartet No. 14 in C-sharp minor, Op. 131/VI. Adagio quasi un poco andante.(played in Band of brothers) |
