I'm hopping it'll make things easier on me. Only bring one guitar with me to work, and I go back and forth tuning 11/2 step down and open tuning for playing slide. Probably only tune down a 1/2 with this one as I don't plan on going bigger than 10s on this vs my usual 13s

[Oh, a 2015. I wish Gibson wouldn't have put those damn tuner thingies on all of the Les Paul models.

I mainly wish they made that tuner thingy optional... I strongly prefer standard (or standard locking) tuners at this point.
The wider board I'm ok with... it felt ok. Odd, but I could get used to it pretty quickly I believe.
I don't like how they handled the bound boards though. Removing the nibs on the fret ends removes one of their signature pieces.
The zero-fret I'm not sold on... but ok... whatever. If it works in the long-run... great.
The price increase strikes me as a bit much. But if the market will bear it... so be it.
But... build quality of the 2015's I've handled has been great, every one I've picked up has been very well built.
