It's fake but it's funny. And very well done.

Fake, but not far from some stuff that is said (1st post).  I heard someone ask what the freq was for guard the other day.  Usually it is the pilots not the controllers messing up.  I've thrown out more than one Roger wilcos.  I am waiting for the day I give the abeam with the gear call when flying a visual pattern.

If a VFR aircraft is in contact with ATC they can vector him for traffic or airspace.

Should have had the WN pilots suggest going direct as a solution

I've heard that the "We have the field in sight" call is always popular with the controllers from the pilots in Class A.

Field in sight is a good call no matter the airspace. Granted if you're still that high to be in Class A you've got a ways to go  and unless you're planning on dive bombing in you're going to stay on the arrival

They must like it. Because they're always asking me if I have it in sight.

The more options the better. Getting the field in sight may get you in a little faster.

Damn straight. And if I can't volunteer that then I'll try for the proceeding traffic. Gotta get this sucker to the gate. I've got an employee bus to catch.

You have a bus to catch, and I don't feel like filling out paperwork. Win-win!
