What an amazing feeling. Its funny how flying out to the practice area by yourself or doing pattern work doesn't seem like that big of a deal but actually going somewhere and back was awesome. Really makes me regret waiting so long in life to do this.  I've got another 10 hours of flying to do before hit the minimums for my check ride and I can't wait to go get that first really expensive hamburger.

I dunno OP, based on your video you seemed really fidgety and you landing was kinda fast.

Congratulations!
I remember my first solo cross country, it was a hoot.
Later I flew from Indianapolis to Raton, New Mexico to the Whittington Center for a week of shooting fun.
Best vacation I ever had.
I had a plane load of guns and ammo, try doing that today.
Ummmm, maybe not.

Nice, congratulations. I did my first cross country in a Cherokee too.

Didn't look like you had a GPS, how were you navigating? Pilotage or a VOR?

Pilotage with my tablet as a backup.  I was using the VOR on the way back though.  I'm putting the effort in to learning how to navigate without the aid of GPS so I'm never dependent on it for VFR.

No.  I wouldn't be opposed to owning a Cherokee though.

If you get one, get shoulder harnesses.

I made it 34 seconds before I had to quit for a sore neck.

Good job keeping your head on a swivel, op. Congratulations.
