Taking off from Missoula International airport around 7PM yesterday.  All white 707, no markings I could see.  Had a small hump behind the cockpit that looked kind of like the one on an E-4B.

Any ideas?

E6-A/B Mercury

It must have been the planet Venus.

Yep, E-6 - thanks!  Kind of an odd place to see one of those.  We get a lot of P-3's doing touch and goes, but that is about it for military traffic normally.

LOL. That was one of my favorite episodes. One of the few that Duchovny directed, if I remember correctly.
