Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Blackhawk down in TX and Apache in Korea on Monday

Just saw a short blip about two different Army helicopter crashes on Monday. 4 killed in the Blackhawk and 2 in the Apache. I know people in both areas ( or at least I think they are in these areas )

Anybody have any inside info at to what units they were with? All I have been able to find in some quick searches is the generic "Army helicopter" but nothing with regards to what units they were from.

Further searching found the Blackhawk was from Division West, First Army and the Apache was from 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade.
