You're making me want to go flying in Costa Rica.

I'd go in there with my plane.  About the same space I have on my strip at home.

Don't think I would do it in that Cessna.

That looks like a good time.  These days, any runway under 7,000' looks short to me.

This 182 has some mods
Sportsman STOL kit
VGs
MT Prop

Stall speed is around 38kts
Approach speed about 45 kts

I only go there with half tanks of fuel and no more than one passenger.

Its good to see you know what your are doing and what your aircraft is capable of! Are there any temp limits to that strip?

Its sea level and by the coast, always hot.
I only go early in the morning, when there is no wind, because when wind starts its a tail wind, you dont want a tail wind in that strip

Had a 77' 182. I felt any strip I could make it into I could make it out, true non stol/stol aircraft.
Now the Mooney was different. I could land almost as short as 182 but it would never make it out.
