Kind of cheesy, but it was cool to get a glimpse of the training program. I'm wrapping up my application currently, only have to complete my pt test and board interview.

How much do Army guys get to fly in a year? Do WOs get to stay in a flying tour their entire career?

My annual minimums for the CH47 is 90 hours in the aircraft and 24 hours in the simulator. This past 12 months I have flown 376 hours in the aircraft, and flew another 50 plus in the sim. It was a good year. Warrants generally stay in the cockpit the whole time, even in a staff job. They may fly less, but still will fly. |
