Here is a new and interesting link to the Edwards Ranch collection of warbirds and parts. I had the privilege of being out there in the mid 80s and it was unreal but I remember a lot more Mustangs which I guess he does not care for. I got to climb all over one of those Me 109s and it was a real blast. Sad about his son, except for his daughter(not sure what happened to her) he has nobody to pass the ranch and collection to.

He had halftracks and a Sharman tank there too. His house-Castle more like it is amazing too.

There's something just plain wrong when a skilled accomplished person who engages in high risk loses their life in a random unrelated event. James Jabara should not have died in an automobile crash either.

Neat thanks for sharing. I believe those are Spanish built 109's. Since we are talking German planes I will be a spelling nazi, it's Sherman tank, not Sharmon. Those tanks would be made out of toilet paper.

I bet the British Government will bid hard on that BoB Spitfire. Those things are treasured over there. Or, whomever gets it would get anything they wanted in trade. Something like a Tornado.

Apparently from what I read they have already sold.  The Spit went back to England and the 109's to someone in Europe.

Soon a small squadron of BF-109's will be in the air again.

I have seen a couple of videos of this hangar.  The amount of spare parts alone is staggering.

Old man seems like he would be a cool dude to sit down and have a beer with.  Unfortunately I suspect he gets a lot of "Can I borrow a few hundred thousand?" instead of just sitting down to chat.
