Shot this clip Sunday while I was on duty, sorry for the poor quality, but figured something is better than nothing.

Eta:  nope, sorry.  Could barely make out hangar 2 on the south side of SLCIA.

OP, how long you been OPs?  I was line Super for 5 years at SLJC... 2005-2010.

Not Ops at airport, Gold Cross Ambulance Ops Supervisor

We work pretty close with the airport guys though. You can see three of them lined up right at the end of the runway watching the take off. I was going to call to have them let me in, but decided the North Temple offramp overpass was a better seat.

You have probably dealt with my minions many times, hopefully positive experiences, but I have had the misfortune to be on the receiving end of more than one oops / doh! moments involving our guys on that side of the airport.

My bad, saw the lightbar and thought it was an ops truck.  I was wondering why you weren't on the inner road.

I had the privilege(?) of getting a ride to the U in one of your busses once.

I was too, after I got the bill...

Sorry for the hijack.

Beautiful plane.  Can't wait to see her post-restoration in person.

One of my favorite things about B-29s is the size of the prop arc compared to the fuselage.

I am hopeful that we get to see FIFI and Doc flying side by side at some point in the not too distant future.

I missed FiFi this go-around. I had other things going on at the time, and weather during the day wasn't all that great. To make up for it, here's a shot from her visit to Colorado last year...
