The Lakotas around Rucker are shiny new looking as well. They are quite pampered.

Holy cow. What incredible shots everyone. Wow. Looks like some of yours are at BJC, quib :) ...?
Airliners.net rejected the last one below, so I said to hell with them. Here are a few of my [amateur] tries: Grumman TBM-3E Avenger, #309, NL53405 of the Commemorative Air Force. American Flag, Red Arrows Demonstration Team, overwhelmed children and all. Encapsulation of an American airshow, Rocky Mountain Airshow 2011. (BJC) B-2A [don't know which] at the 2011 Rocky Mountain Airshow, in August at BJC. Me, B-2 and Sun aligned pretty well. First time seeing a Sprit, 'Merica. Untouched/un-photoshopped picture of a General Dynamics F-16C Falcon inlet with Nikon Coolpix L5 (which did all of it's own brightness compensation) of the COANG Viper at Buckley AFB, 2008. AF87 buzz# 237. Thanks to Brig Gen Eyre and all of the COANG. Makes for a really neat shot if you edit out the gear and ammo cart in the background. Also try inverting the colors. #3 C-130H engine. Allison T56-A-15 turboprop, 4590 shaft horsepower, PR 14.5:1, P/W 2.75shp/lb. Tail #21536 of the Wyoming 153d Airlift Wing. Cheyenne Frontier Days 2007. Close up of the left wing 1, 2, 3 and 4 .50 cals on the Republic P-47D-40 Thunderbolt, #49-45385 out of Colorado Springs, Rocky Mountain Airshow 2011. The Jug is suitable for aromatics. A thank you note to those who brought us aviation. Unfortunately I did not get Maj Gen Billy Mitchell or my Grandpa Eric's names in the shot, so thanks to them as well. Of course too many people to list. Photographed for the Breitling Photo Contest back in May. I did not win anything. |

My company sold those to Erikson.....cool to see them again...... Isn't aviation a small world? I'm looking forward to this summer and seeing what type of aircraft are stationed out here for the upcoming fire season. |

Hm...that looks like it has a 212 tail rotor, two engines, and the "classic huey" nose. What model is that? |

Some pics I had up on my photobucket from some visits to the Military Aviation Museum in VA Beach in 2010/2011. They've recently added a B17G, and FW190 and a few others. Man! Photo ops galore at that museum! You are lucky to have that resource. I would live there if I had a museum like that nearby! |

Here are a few from my bosses museum; the large grey fuselage behind these three aircraft is none other than the Spruce Goose (sorry my camera wasn't that big). I've been there. Unfortunately I was in Portland on business and didn't have a camera with me, but drove up to see the Goose. Looks like you have some additions to the museum since I was out there. (2005/06) |
