Think my 200-500 would be enough, or should I get a sigma 150-600?

I think you would be OK with the 200-500. We had box seats, so I was about as far out on the ramp, and as close to the action as you could get. But the actual race course is on the other side of the runway, and is pretty far away. Plus, the planes are pretty much in a constant left turn, which means they are almost always belly up to the grand stand area as they pass by. And that makes for some boring shots after a while. They do level their wings for a few seconds in the "valley of speed", but that is on the back side of the course. About the only other time to catch them wings level is on the last lap as they cross the finish line, or maybe at the start when they are first getting lined up. The demonstrations (Thunderbirds, CAF, etc.) are mostly over the runway, so they are a little closer. There are loads of picture opportunities with the static displays, or in the pits, but there are lots of people around too, and that can jam up the pictures some. Still, it's probably worth the trip at least once.
