Great pic of "Witchcraft".
She is a Fort Worth built B-24 and was made in the same plant that now makes the F-35 ! |

Nice shot. At a fly-in this summer I talked to the guy who flew that plane when they started their touring airshow act after the movie. He said that the memories were still a bit raw at the time and folks were incredulous that he would fly a "Jap" airplane and would verbally abuse him. He eventually made a habit of parking the airplane on the far end of the line and getting out on the side of the airplane away from the crowd so that when he appeared again it wasn't obvious he came from that airplane. Yikes. |

I just tossed my HobbyZone Piper Cub in the dumpster. One to many crack-ups, she was finally beyond repair. Dad has the same plane, so I canned all the serviceable parts and passed them on to him for spares. Time to maybe start hunting for a new toy! |

Thanks. That's my end goal with my models and photos. The best compliment I get from people is..."you make that look real" or something to that effect.

Well, with all the new issues with IMGUR I guess I'm going to have to find a new host if they don't get this resolved. All my pictures from May-current aren't showing any more.
I'm hoping to get in a few museum trips this month. Wife and I are planning a trip to Udvar-Hazy for the open house and I just got a year family pass for Christmas to Military Aviation Museum.... |
