Quib, that Fokker tri wing you posted up, where was that? This guy has one that looks almost identical.

That aircraft belongs to Mr. Andy Parks, who is the Executive Director of The Vintage Aero Flying Museum near Denver. I'm planning a trip out there this Spring, so stay tuned for more vintage WWI aviation photography.

Thank you QUIB, that makes me feel pretty great actually, since you're an actual aviation photographer . Ha, not even close.  I wish! A close friend of mine was cleaning it, asked me if I wanted to see it...

The thud is from the museum at Hill afb. Sign said he was a fighter pilot in WWII and wanted his kills on the new plane.

Wow, awesome.  Go with anyone? Is the Sunset Beach Bar as awesome as I dream it is? Are the women there as topless, numerous, voluptuous as I imagine?

Didn't even cross my mind at the time - weird lol

Nice shots of that "Jug" Jeffman.

I tried getting a few shots without the ropes getting in the way, but found that almost impossible. I wish they wouldn't put those barriers up around the aircraft, it wasn't always like that. Those ropes can ruin a good shot for those not wanting that stuff in their photos, or make for a lot of work in post-processing to get rid of them!

Here's two P-47 photos of mine from last years RMMA Show...

Thanks, yours are the ones worth printing out huge, framing and putting up.  I bet I could get part of the way there with Picasa or something.  That cockpit shot is pretty unique, really like it.  Sent your website to a buddy in the USAF, he's a CFI (not a pilot yet in the AF), so hopefully your site will get some exposure.  I'll tell him to send it out to all his connections.  You never know, I guess.

Some moar from that show:

lol!! Genius logo.

Unfortunately, my laptop and back-up drive (along with the camera I used for most of those pictures) were stolen a couple years ago so I no longer have the full-res versions.
