Right now smoking some McClelland Dark Star. Really nice Virginia tobacco but takes some prep work. I have to dry it for about 4 hours then break it into bits as it doesn't rub out worth a damn.

Frog Morton Cellar going in another Neptune. I'm digging these pipes - this one is a horn/dublin hybrid.

Pretty darned good, I'm extremely happy with the purchase.  Seems to be forming the carbon cake pretty quickly.  From the time of commissioning to having it in my hands was 12 days IIRC.  Pretty awesomely fast turnaround, especially considering it came from Canada.  Smoking some P&C Mountain Pass in it right now (their November blend).  Good blend for latakia lovers.

On a side note, I just figured out that Devil Anse pipes are named after the Hatfield and McCoy show which I happened to start watching a couple of weekends ago.  Naturally, I'm tempted to buy one now, but I got to hold out until after the holidays.  That Dagner you posted isn't making it easy to hold out though.

There's a bunch of guys making their own interpretation of the devil anse. I think the actual shape is called a stubby cutty. The Dagner is about the same size as the movie version except for the larger stem and rustication. Interestingly enough, Crow Pipes has a couple listed right now that look damn nice for the money.

Eta: There's a guy on ebay selling a cob version for $15.95 with free shipping - had to double up on the softy bits to get it comfortable to clench. Otherwise it's a sweet smoker. Got some more Peterson reserve going in it now.

Black Velvet in a CAO meer.

Extorris, if you are in the Roswell / Alpharetta area, check out The Cigar Merchant at Hwy 9 and Mansell.  Kennesaw / Marietta, Tobacco World at Sandy Plains and Canton Rd.

Scottish tobacco at Buckhead Crossing shopping center has a decent selection, or had when I went there, but it is all FULL price and the owner as of 3-4 years ago admitted to being an Obama voter, and had the gall to complain about tobacco tax increases.

Second half of the Black Velvet in the meer.  Just finished a bunch of laundry, house cleaning, basement cleaning, lawn mowing right before the thunderstorms started.

Sitting on the front porch watching the rain.

While the house is a rental (explains the peeling paint in the iron that I am not going to paint) I am trying to make sure that the lawn doesn't look like  crack den's.
