I think the Brick House depends on your taste in cigars.  I recomend smoking at least one.

Pretty good, I snagged a 5 pack of Cigar auctioneer for dirt cheap, if the other 4 are as good as this they will probably be the next box purchase.

Oliva G.

I had a turkey club sandwich and afterward this little guy paired very well with an Arnold Palmer and playing catch with my three year-old son.

Started with a bang, 1/3 gave a strong beginning.  Great tones of toasted hazelnut and almond, even weak draws gave more than enough smoke to fill my mouth.  Amazing aftertaste, not leathery, but very earthy.

2/3 gave a small surprise, held a great ash (almost too well) and burnt very evenly with a pair of noticeable veins just under the wrapper.  The strong toasted nut notes became a bit mellower, but not muted.  The draw wasn't too hot as I have noticed with similar cigars in this size and

Final 1/4 gave way to an underlying taste of espresso with a smoother, more milky smoke on the retro.  I enjoyed it so much that I continued smoking it with about an inch left, simply taking lighter pulls and it still didn't impart a lot of bitterness or the typical acrid taste I get from others with such a short length and small diameter.

It took me about thirty minutes to smoke this little wonder and at just four dollars a shot, I am probably going to buy a box for just puttering around with.

I'm going to have to try one of these again.  I've been really underwhelmed by the Oliva V G O line but I think I'm the outlier.

Tonight:

2 Benchmade Churchills
Avo 787 Special Edition.  oooh man, if these weren't $15 I'd smoke a whole lot more of them.

I noticed you and I have different tastes in smokes, so don't hate me if you don't like it.

But I do want to thank you for turning me on to the Camacho Triple Maduro.  Amazing cigar, just had one and it reached up and grabbed me by the collar.  Glad I had a big dinner, ribeye, baked potato and an oriental salad.

Partagas black label piramide.

1/3 is amazing.  Meaty smoke with a creamy coffee overtone.  The flavors it left in my mouth were slightly like a roasted mushroom, with a heavy mix of dry toasted nuts and a pleasant peppery taste at the very end my tongue.

It started burning with a hot ash, but didn't produce a lot of smoke.  After cutting the cap a few more times, I finally settled with less than 1/8th of the cap wrapper still around it.  It's a very oily wrapper and I think it will hold fine.

The draw started slightly tight and cool, which led to poor resting in the ashtray.  Events evened out nicely after the first ash dropped, smoke volume picked up and the draw heated up a bit.

2/3 of the way through and this thing is kicking out some strong espresso and bitter chocolate flavors with a lot of light grey smoke.
The roof of my mouth became slightly numb to some tastes, I think because of my problem with the earlier draw.  That effect is nearly gone now and I get a very light flavor of what (sounds crazy) I can only describe as toasted coconut.  It's very good.

The mail just showed up, it's from Quantim2 and the premium cigar pass that Slavac started.  I'll get to that a bit later.

Towards the end of the second third, the end of the draw started ending with a spicier flavor similar to the slight pepper at the beginning, only stronger and more pronounced at the very end of the tongue.  It's smooth sailing and then *zing* right at the end.

I'll finish this when I'm done smoking.

ETA: Came back to my smoke and it's out, again.  The remainder of the cap unwrapped from saliva interacting with it and it still held very nicely.  Dusted off, blew out the old stuff and it started right back up.  Not a big change in flavor, pleasantly surprising.  The espresso flavor is still there, only without the bitter chocolate taste that it began with.  I think it might have to do with the change in diameter from a larger foot to a consistent body.  Either way, since it mellowed out I'm enjoying it more.

The final quarter of the cigar is fairly straightforward.  It's got a pronounced nicotine kick that's leaving my head a tad swimmy.  That peppery flavor is remaining a little longer especially at the beginning of the draw, straight down the center of the cigar.  Pro: I let my tongue lay flat at the bottom of my mouth and that spice is drawn up to the roof of my mouth where it's very pleasant on the retro.

Con: The trade off with this is that I end up taking stronger pulls and inhaled a little, it does leave my mouth feeling a little stale between puffs.  When it's resting now it has a noticeable draft at the head and leaving a longer ash.

I'm leaving it at at about an inch-and-a-half and it was a good finish.  The retro revealed a nutmeg and slight cinnamon aftertaste and the topnotes are mostly the familiar espresso and nutmeg flavors.  The smoke is the densest it's been with this cigar and it easily fills my mouth, leaving a good bit of flavor on the inside of my cheeks.

In the end:
This monster has a very dense cap.  I ended up cutting it four times and still had a problem moving smoke through it.

If you can crack the code on that little problem this stick will treat you right.
I paired this with water and later with a small latte, it would also go very well with some Sailor Jerry's rum.

Cool.  I have a couple, just never reach for them.  I think I'll fire one up soon.

I enjoyed it. Great flavor, bit of oak and caramel. Fairly spicy. Well constructed, and the burn was PERFECT. ( So perfect that I took notice of it. )

I'd definitely recommend trying one.
