I'm in Vegas, so it the Sin City...
Thursday, drove out. When I got there, I only smoked the one cigar: Boliva Regional Edition, French. Friday, wife is at a conference, I went around to eat, gamble, and smoke. First of, win a few bucks, so the cigars are "paid for"
Went to Casa Fuente, smoked a Casa Fuente house cigar, double corona. Went to Rivera, while waiting to pick up my wife, sat at the bar and smoked a Punch (DR) double corona. At Paris Station, standing in line waiting to get to the Oyster Bar for their famous seafood gumbo, smoked a Cohiba Siglo VI After dinner, back at the hotel bar, smoked an Anejo Shark |

It was a bad day at Vegas yesterday, but manage to get a smoke at the end of the day.
Woke up, pack up, getting to go home. When I got to my car, some as_h_le broke the side window of my car overnight, trying to get to the GPS unit. The prep was scared away by the built-in alarm. My fail, left the GPS unit in the car, because mhy wife srove me, and I was a bit drunk. To make a long story short, wind up extending my stay at Las Vegas for a day, and manage to take care of securing the car and rental car by 3:00 pm Went to Casa Fuente and got what I plan to get, Casa Fuente double corona, and manage to smoke one there...the only smoke for the day, but things are better. I am at Safelite Autoglass waiting for the window to be repaired. |

Camacho 1962.
This one came from the summer pass and has an unfinished foot. I wonder if it is a camacho pre-embargo... Jason |

Thompson Green Label, definitely not too bad after about 8 months of aging.

sorry to hear that ken ol' pal.....I fucking hate vandals/thieves. At least you got in a great smoke! Got back home today finally, it have been a long day, starting at 06:00. In short, instead of the plan of getting a full box of Casa Fuente double corona ($700), I only got five ($28 each). The balance paid for the broken window, rental car and extra night for the hotel. From now on, I make damn sure that I wil not book any rooms at Las Vegas Hilton or Hilton Grand Vacation (open parking away from the strip) and always remove the GPS. In any case, got two smokes in, all wonderful: In LV, before long trip back, after lunch: Zion Platinum Crown, Rocket tubo, a new size. Great cedar and cocoa/espresso flavor, perfect draw and burn. Back home, after dinner, an ISOM Monticristo LE 2008 Sublime, always a great cigar. |

If you got that from the summer pass, it was a pre-embargo.
Gurkha Fuerte Churchill last night. My first one of these for awhile & I do believe gurkha went & changed it. Not a lot of flavor & not much smoke either. Bummer, used to like these. |
