Just a few months ago, I was here asking for suggestions for a "first" smoke.

Now, I'm wondering how I could have been so stupid as to have bought so small of a humidor (100 ct).

Last week alone, from that evil CB:

Camacho Triple Maduro 11/18 - 5-Pack
Camacho SLR Rothschild Maduro - 5-Pack
Camacho 1962 Corona - 5-Pack
CAO Gold Maduro Robusto - 5-Pack
Macanudo Baron de Rothschilde Maduro - 5-Pack
Monster Maduros IV Sampler - 20 Cigars

This batch worked out to just under $3 a stick.

Gonna need to throw together a coolidor to stash what's coming this week.

Bastards & pushers... all of you!

Hey JH, Well to start with I heard really good things about the nubs and I agree they are very nice. I am still really new to sticks so its hard for me to give descriptive flavors, but if pressed I would say peppery maybe a little spicy with a cream lol I hope that makes sense. Another reason I got them is I thought they would not last as long to smoke... LOL whatever it took me about an hour and a half to finish it. I don't have a smoking room just yet and I smoke in my shop witch is not heated (I should get a space heater) and here in Idaho about 5000ft its a little cold this time of year!! Some say the Habano Nub tastes like the Oliva Serie V, I don't know since I have not smoked one YET. I will buy more when mine runs out that is the true test if you will buy them again, I hope that helps. Take care and Merry Christmas.

This isn't "cigar buyers anonymous"...peddle your guilt elsewhere sir

After falling in love with the Illusione, I was a little disappointed in the Cruzado

It was ok, but too expensive to be just ok in my book. I'll give another a go at some point though in case the problem was me and not the smoke

Tody I bought the last 5 AF Anejo 48's left in Birmingham...Hell,the last Anejo's PERIOD left in B'ham.

This Anejo season, I ended up with a box of #77's (Sharks) and 10 #50's, 7 #55's and 15 #48's. These are all going to sit for at least 6 months.

I am now poor, but I'll have some righteous smokes.

The Black Puro is another impressive, small-batch handmade in Gurkha’s highly enjoyable portfolio of super-premium handmades. Naturally, only the finest, most patiently aged tobaccos are chosen for this bold cigar. A robust blend of Cuban-seed long-fillers grown in the lush Ciboa Valley of the Dominican Republic. Perfectly balanced and masterfully blended, this choice recipe is topped off with a jet-black maduro leaf that’s oozing with natural oils. The result is nothing short of spectacular. Rich hints of coffee bean and toast tease the palate, while a satisfying peppery aftertaste escapes through the nose. Medium to full-bodied and super-slow burning, the Black Puro is a complex beauty layered with flavor that remain smooth down to the nub. Enjoy!

MSRP: $9 - $12 per cigar.
Category: BOXES
Cigar Size: 7.5" x 52 ring

Thanks...

For New Years Eve I smoked an Opus X super beli that I had aging for a couple of years and it was out of this world.

That sucker lasted three hours.....pure bliss

I like them fresh too, but they are much better after a bit of aging IMO.

I used to smoke them quite a bit, but they've fallen out of favor with me, I think my anti-Domincan bias. IM me your addy and I'll send you a fiver.

I really like the X-Fuerte, it's my favorite of the Gurkhas.

I broke down the last couple days.  I've tried my hardest not to buy anything, don't go to cbid, try not to look, but someone posted up a link to the joecigar 10 pack of Man O Wars.  I've only had one but really liked it and $30 shipped was too good to pass up.  Then of course they had a similar deal on the DPG Cuban Classics.  I am weak.
