I just talked to them, and the order I placed next day air week before last hasn't even shipped. I've been ordering from them for over eight years, and they're great normally, but they said an upgrade to their Microsoft SQL Server broke their ordering system and they lost data. I work for a company that uses that Microsoft garbage, and we've lost more than a dozen SQL Server databases so far this year and had to restore from backups, so I know what they're going through. I don't blame this for this multi-week outage, but I do blame them for attempting to use Microsoft garbage. We had to use things from Microsoft that we knew didn't work, but since several former Microsoft employees are our main investors, they forced us to use crap that simply doesn't work.z

Thanks for the 'heads up' I was just about to order from them. I'm just getting into cigars, I was in Phoenix a couple of weeks ago and found an awesome cigar store (Big Sticks), and have nothing similar in my area, so I'm looking for a place to order. What's a good alternative if I might ask? I'm looking for some sampler type packages.

Same here. Usually get my order in three days.
Been a week and the order hasn't been processed yet. Get multiples of the same email saying they are working on it. I order from them about once a month. Looks like they are going to lose a customer. |

Last week before finding this thread, not only did I place an order there, but the item I ordered is on back order. Am I doomed?

I wish I saw this thread earlier. I ordered on 2/26/17 a couple of items that were "in stock." I got an e-mail saying my order was "picked," and still haven't received anything. I saw my order showed the items as "backordered," and put in a request to find out why, as their website said they were in stock. I got no response, and have been trying to get ahold of them via phone and have gotten nothing except a busy tone. They have no queue on their phone system, and no answering machine. I just want to cancel my order. This has been a piss poor first experience with them, but this thread explains why.
ETA: Finally, half an hour before they close, instead of just getting a busy dial I got through to an automated system. Now I'm on hold..... probably until after they close. |

Ordered 2/15 shipped on 3/7.
Based on the tracking number data it was placed on a snails back and pointed west. |

They're still having problems getting shipments out. My last order took a week to ship, and their online order system still shows this warning:
"We’re upgrading our warehouse management systems. Shipping has been delayed while we complete the upgrades. Orders are shipped via UPS and/or USPS." I sympathize with them since we also use Microsoft garbage where I work, but this is getting ridiculous.z |

I'm still waiting on my order from 2/11. This goes beyond blaming a Microsoft product...That just seems like a convenient excuse. If you're upgrading something as important as your Warehouse management system, you'd have backups in place and rollback plans.

My company bought a new system and had problems with it.
After acouple of weeks they got out clip boards and manually pulled orders. These guys arn't shipping anything. I think they are going out of business and I'm going to get screwed out of my $80 |

There were system maintenance notices posted before things went tits up, so don't think they were going out of business before the boondoggle.
I did just receive 1/2 of my order, so maybe things are looking brighter. |

Finally got through by E mail. They are not picking up their phones.
Oh we found you order and will move it ahead on the list and you should get it much faster. It's been five weeks. After I get this order I'm done with these Assholes. |

Yup, I ordered the 28th, been using them for years and years, took 2 1/2 weeks to get my order when it's always consistently been 2-3 days.

Tracking number finally worked. They sent it UPS SurePost instead of the two day air that I paid for so it's going to take nine days to get here. Not happy.z

Been seeing a lot of people in Facebook cigar groups complaining about them and their other site cigarbid.com, luckily my last order I placed with them happened right before the system upgrades.

UPS notified me today that the trailer with my package was lost in CO. I'm going to have to wait even longer for my order. They couldn't explain why a shipment from PA to WA ended-up in CO.z

Nothing but crickets at C-Bid they're into my card for $300.00....:( Since Feb. Won auction.. Showed processing bid. Came up with total and tag card. Got garbled. Email confirm (LOTS OF JIBBER JABBER.) Then my account was cleared of all trace of this info.WTF.. The Debil has taken his toll I guess. |

Got the final half of my order this week...Originally ordered 2/11. Going to wait a couple months before I try them again. Got my order of Cubans from friends returning from Asia in only 2wks...

Looks like that got it figured out. I placed an order Tuesday evening (after hours ). Shipped Wednesday and will get here saturday and that was with the cheapest /slowest shipping.

My order before last arrived at my local UPS depot about four miles away last Friday night. I still don't have it. I wonder if they owe UPS money as to why their shipments take so long.z

My credit card got hit after ordering from Atlantic Cigars. The perp got arrested and AC tried to make it right. My next order was from Cigar.Com and guess what happened to my new credit card? Yep. They had assured me that they had the best, most secure Microsoft system.
