I'm thinking about converting a cooler to a humidor to keep more sticks on hand instead of always having to run to the store to buy what I want to smoke.

I have one question though - beetles are a concern of mine.  How do you keep your coolers below 70 deg?  Besides keeping the house A/C on 68, what is the best way to maintain a consistent temp?

I'm in TN and keep my A/C on 75-79 depending on the day.  When I'm gone to work the air stays set on 80.  Beetles are a concern but I don't want a $250 electric bill either.  House is a ranch, no basement.

This......and even with this I would suggest you freeze all cigars before introducing them to your collection.
