Depends.....I have one or two.....OK three of them...two thermotemps like you scored and one larger compressor-driven using an external power/internal temp sensor add-on...
I run beads and an Oasis XL in them.
Oasis on the base level and beads in the middle and top drawers.
The fuller I keep them, the better they run.
One only has shelves in it as it is my "full box" seasoning spot....I rotate front to back and top to bottom every three months.
The other two (one at home and one at work) are set with drawers....GET DOUBLE DRAWERS!!!!....with space at the bottom for a few boxed or special pack items.
I tried single drawers and shelves and was very dissatisfied so I swapped in doubles.
Since I am a Xikar-whore.....I used to run two hygros in them one top and one bottom and although I have had good lock with mine, when I saw the new Xikar desktop monitors, I went all in!!!
I have one in my office with one sending unit in the cooler, 200 ct and fridge and cannot say how pleased I am with these units!
push one button and you see the humidity and temp of each.....and of course I left my rounds in there and to date, the sensor and the rounds have been the same.
OH....pics are a must!
And enjoy....they sure is fun!!!!!

I have a coolerdor and its been pretty good so far. My house has been really dry the past few months and my coolerdor has been as well. I never really had a problem before but then again my last place wasn't this dry.
I've been watching the scratch-n-dent sales for a while but haven't pulled the trigger... until today. I bought a Koldfront 28 bottle cooler and it should be here in a few days. I have spanish cedar trays from my coolerdor that I'll use in there on the wire racks until I can order some of the really nice spanish cedar trays/shelves.
My plan is to eventually get another one to actually put wine in and then build a bar that will fit both of them in it.
Any tips or tricks for them?
